I'm always on the hunt for a cafe that I could make my own hangout spot. I haven't found one in Manila, until I came across this quirky little cafe located in front of De La Salle University. Cafe Noriter is a Korean-inspired nook that offers a variety of dishes. From savory pastas to frothy beverages, they got it all covered.

As soon as you get inside, you can feel the warm ambiance of the place welcoming you. With doodle cups arranged in boxed shelves and  wooden open-air rooms placed in the corners, the cafe just gives you this very homey feel. Their lighting will make you feel cozy , as well.

Having doodle cups is actually a brilliant idea. Customers can draw while waiting for the order and that would take the boredom off of them.

The overall vibe of Noriter is playful. I have read from somewhere that noriter means playground in Korean, so it does live up to its name. The injection of quirky elements here and there help make it more charming. Plus, I'm drawn to everything that's wooden. It just exudes class, effortlessly.

We ordered their Carbonara Pasta together with Chocolate and Vanilla Milkshakes. The pasta was sweet, though the addition of bacon strips gave it a little saltiness. The milkshakes are perfect for those people who are into everything sweet like me.

With just a train away, you can experience a little bit of Seoul without getting out of the Metro. You can bring your books and read the afternoon off while sipping hot coffee. Or maybe, have a chat with your closest friends over lunch and even watch some movies in one of their wooden rooms. Cafe Noriter just allows you to be as quirky as their shop.

So if you're ever looking for a new place to hang, then try eating at Cafe Noriter. You can have a little place detached from the busy metropolis all to yourself.
