Eating Like a Local at Larsian

1:00 PM

Four people, famished from non-stop walking and touring around Metro Cebu. It is inevitable that we would get hungry. And knowing myself, I am either always hungry or always sleepy.

Larsian is just a few steps away from where we currently were, which was Fuente Osmena Circle. I haven't researched about Larsian even while we were there. I just remembered a colleague who told me that the food was superb and that it's really worth the visit.

When we got there, we were swarmed by almost all of the food stand owners, telling us why we needed to choose theirs. To be honest, it went a little creepy when a man whispered words to my ear. Later on, I found it actually funny and a very good strategy. We were the only people that time, so I had the chance to go around the vicinity and took pictures. Although, its located in a very busy and crowded place, they have maintained it very sanitary. You won't think twice on getting your hands on the food for you know they're clean.

They were actually the coolest people, joking and making fun of each other for entertainment.

We ordered smoked squid and barbecue. It tasted so good I ate two puso, a rice packed inside woven leaves. And as usual, it didn't take much time before we devoured our meals. We contemplated on getting more food but it might make as sleepy and we'll never enjoy the next stops on our tour.

So, we slid our things inside our bags and head on to go to our next destination. Larsian is definitely on my list of where to eat whenever I am here in Cebu. It's cheap, people are so nice and the food are so scrumptious.
